During the Easter Holidays, an Adult tennis camp was held, and this is where Family Tennis was brought to life! Family tennis is a great way for the whole family to come down to High Ercall Tennis Camp and enjoy tennis coaching in a fun and social environment. Parents have coaching on two courts and the children are looked after by Chris Hughes, Chloe Ward and Oli Ward. The children play tennis games and can interact with each other in the safe environment while the parents enjoy a worry free hour and a half of tennis. Family Tennis is held for an hour and a half every Friday evening from 6:30pm – 8pm. We look forward to seeing you there.
May was a very busy month for the junior coaching sessions, with the new addition
of Sarah Constable -
The ‘Aegon Team Tennis’ fixtures are nearly finished for this year. All teams and players have represented the club to the highest standard and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. All the players and parents have had a massive learning curve with the tournament and have all had an insight into the tennis tournament world! Myself and the club would like to take this opportunity to thank the team captains for organising the matches and most importantly the players who have once again made the club very proud
On Sunday 19th June there is an Adult Junior tournament, and it would be lovely to see as many Mini Green and above players taking part.
Coaching
The 2011 coaching programme is under way with Club coach Laura Oakes providing coaching .

Mini Marvels results
Since September 2010, some of the mini red players have been competing in the ‘Mini Marvels’ league at Welti. Every month there has been an afternoon dedicated to mini red matches and players, and every month High Ercall have entered a team of 4. Over the last 7 months, the team have consisted of Imogen Dudson, Tabitha Byne, Georgia McBride, Keria Hughes, Tom Davies, Jacob Horne, Patrick Rushworth and Harvey Birrel. Out of 8 teams that entered the ‘mini marvels’, High Ercall came a very successful, respectful and proud 3rd.
